Thunder Report- January 7, 1999
Last Monday on Nitro, the Wolfpac was most definitely in da' house! After a super Superbrawl, the Black & Red had its ups and downs, but it got through the night.

We'll start with the bad news. One of the greatest upsets in recent history. Kevin Nash vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. Nash dominated the match and was about to go for the Powerbomb, but Rey countered it into a roll-up for the win! Nash, like myself, was shocked!

Doing a cruder version of Rick Rude's old act, TV Champion Scott Steiner (w/Buff Bagwell) claimed to have good times ahead for Kimberly. Steiner challenged Goldberg to a showdown later tonight. (Credit to Steve Appenrodt, The BIG 3 NewsBoard).

Bill Goldberg defeated WCW Television Champion Scott Steiner (w/Buff Bagwell) via disqualfication in of a non-title match in 7:30 Steiner & Buff were surprised that Goldberg was in the arena. After the nWo destroyed the referee, Buff & Steiner were prepared to double team Goldberg. Rick Steiner made his triumphant return, enabling Goldberg to hold off several members of the nWo. The nWo then did a sorry impression of Flair, Anderson, and other members of the Horsemen during what was supposed to be an impression of a David Flair/Ric Flair face-to-face confrontation as Nitro ended.
